The Family of Randy and Lisa Zickert are the Chapter Family of the Month for May. The Zickerts, with sons Zach- 22, Jacob-20, and daughter Katie-15, are passionate about their long service to the St. Martin of Tours Parish in La Mesa as Altar Servers, members of the Choir, and much more. Randy, has been a member of Council 14550 there for 6 years, is the long-time coordinator of the Altar Servers, and a member of the liturgy committee. As a member of the Choir, Lisa is a Cantor and has led the parish school choir, started the parish Mom’s group and is involved in the Adoration Chapel and Bible Study Group. She was also the key figure in rekindling the Vacation Bible Camp, of which Katie, an OLP student, is a youth leader. Her brothers, both college students now were also youth group leaders for three years during high school at Saints.
Randy as the strong quiet rock of his family, has helped exemplify what Building the Domestic Church really means, through his example to his parish and family as a faithful Catholic and Knight, the Zickerts grow in their practice of the faith, supporting the sacramental life of their parish. Congratulations to the Zickerts for being named as our May Family of the Month.
