Fr. Peter Escalante, pastor of St. Francis Church at Mission San Diego de Alcala in San Diego will celebrate a Mass in honor of the canonization of Fr. Junipero Serra on Sunday, Sept. 27th at 12:00 PM Noon.
Mass: 12:00pm Procession after Mass Blessed
Following Mass, there will be a procession of a relic of Father Junipero Serra from St. Francis to the Mission Church. The Knights of Columbus have been invited to join the procession in this most historic occasion for the Mission.
