The Emmaus Easter Walk is a great opportunity for our Catholic Community to come together in order to help raise funds for Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of San Diego.
Walking this journey in faith gives witness to our general vocation to serve God. Walking specifically helps give students in our diocese the opportunity to grow in Catholic faith and learning by helping to provide tuition assistance for low- and middle-income families in need.
No matter who we are, Bishop, Priest, Sister, Deacon, Brother, Teacher, Parent or Student, we are all One when we walk with Jesus. This is a time to share our common determination to help our diocese in offering outstanding Catholic education to our Catholic families.
THE CHALLENGE | Participants find donors who will either pledge for each lap that is walked or contribute a flat donation.
Walkers can wear their school spirit gear, religious dress, sports clothing, and of course, good walking shoes are a must! Make it a team event and challenge each other.
