KofC San Diego Diocese Chapter Family of the Month- the Ciesielski Family
Past Grand Knight Wes Ciesielski and his wife Phyllis are our KofC Chapter Family of the Month. The Ciesielskis are very active in the Francis Cabrini Council 8879 as well as in their Parish and community, so much so that the council was honored to recognize their contribution with a nomination. At the parish level in supporting Our Lady of Grace, they can be counted upon to provide an active role as leaders in the Parish Events and Fundraising Committee. They attend virtually every meeting, working hard for various functions in and around the parish, as well as volunteering countless hours for several organizations. As members of the International Catholic Families group, Wes can be found setting up, cooking and serving at each social and charitable function. Wes has led the charge in the Council’s Global Wheelchair Mission fundraising campaign and has succeeded in raising enough funds to provide several thousand dollars to the cause. He recognized the need at three local Native American reservations and spearheaded the Coats for Kids program at his Parish. His efforts resulted in many happy young people in the Laguna Mountain area and reflected favorably on the Knights and the Church. Wes and Phyllis regularly include their family in many of the Knights events and are another great example of the wonderful families we have in the KofC.
